The Area 12 Golf and Bocce competition is being held on Monday, July 30th at Hidden Greens Golf Course in Hastings.
We are currently in need of the following volunteers:
- Golf Scorers: You'll head out on the greens with a team of athletes and record their scores
- Bocce Scorekeeper: You'll be assigned a bocce pitch and be in charge of the scoring and flow of the game.
- Golf skills: You'll be assigned a golf skill station and give the athletes a score at each station.
The great news is that you do not need to have any previous experience to volunteer for any of these positions!
A t-shirt is provided for all of our volunteers, and our Bocce Scorekeepers will also receive a lunch.

Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN) trainings and competitions happen all year in locations across the state. We offer 16 Olympic-style sports. As a result, SOMN has something for you, whatever your age or skill level.
Through sports, our athletes celebrate their abilities, not their disabilities. Their world opens with acceptance and understanding, while becoming confident and empowered by their accomplishments. They make new friends, joining the most inclusive community on the planet-a global community that’s growing every day.
