Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for an events volunteer! The position would be ongoing and in our office (450 E. John Carpenter Fwy, Suite 300, Irving, TX 75062). In the fall, we will have some of our largest and greatest events including Big Black Tie Ball, Clay Shoot, Autobahn, and Casino Night! We are looking for a hard-working and dedicated individual to help us complete some the following tasks:

- Assist with mailers and event collateral to be sent out to event attendees and sponsors
- Communicate with vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and donors as needed
- Participate in the behind-the-scenes planning and organization of special events
- Complete day-of event tasks including help with set-up and tear-down, design, and management
- Facilitate follow-up communications between staff, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and board members after the completion of each event

This volunteer opportunity is flexible and we certainly don't expect long hours. Ideally, the volunteer would be able to commit to roughly 10-15 hours a week in the office, but we are willing to work with your schedule if time is an issue!
