Help Launch the National Gathering of American Indian Veterans!
Spend an evening being a part of the welcoming team as they arrive Friday night. We could use your help to register the participants and serve the welcome dinner on their first night here.
On this night and throughout the weekend there are honor ceremonies, conversation, art and music! And you’re welcome to enjoy it all as well as volunteer.
The event runs July 26-28, 2019; Friday, Saturday and Sunday and ALL veterans are welcome. During the weekend there are many ways to volunteer such as:
- Setting up the event on Friday during the day
- Registering participants
- Serving food
- Assisting veterans in many ways
- Hospitality
- Breaking down the event on Sunday
Throughout the weekend we have flexible volunteer hours and opportunities (we do not require you to stay for the full day, although that would be wonderful) ------to see all of them and learn more about the event please visit:

We believe this project will bridge lost friendships and connections for the men and women that served together, lived together, and witnessed the death of many of their fellow soldiers.
