Skills for Life Program Assistant

Assist young adults with disabilities who are learning independent living skills in an educational setting (classroom and/or community), following a teacher-led model for 3 hours each session. Verbal or "hands-on" assistance will occur in a 1:1 to 1:5 correspondence with students and will be while they are completing tasks in cooking, housekeeping, shopping, riding the bus, etc.
This is a temporary summer position. (Fall classes are TBD.)
Session One: June 11th - July 16th, 2018
Session Two: July 30th - August 27th, 2018
Both sessions are Mondays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Thursdays 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
