Are you interested to support your community by spending your valuable time?
Be aware - Community needs the support of youth / teens as you exhibit the potential to think beyond our imagination!

if yes, Factr is inviting you to support the event called "creating a artwork titled Saudade (Our Flags)" happening on July 15th at Villa Montalvo.

To give you background - "This event is being organized for the first generation immigrants who will be invited to paint the flag of their country of origin from memory and then add a word or sentence about something they miss about living there"

You can help by encouraging and supporting the immigrants artist wit their paintings.You can also help decorate the venue and give a hand to run the program smoothly.


We specially need teens /high school students to apply for this by Sunday July 8th 2018.

The specific purpose of this corporation is for service, research and training:

  1. To provide counseling, psycho- educational services and cultural awareness programs for newcomer families and their children that is respectful of ethnic values and diverse views, including State Laws pertaining to Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Educational, Immigration and other areas.
  2. To provide a setting for professionals who work with stressed families in newcomer and other circumstances to gain knowledge and skills to help them be effective in their work.
  3. To develop a knowledge base for dissemination of practices, methods and concepts for use in the broad mental health and Social Services field.
