Your Gift of Time and Office Skills are Priceless at the Association for Individual Development's Elgin Facility!

Your skills will be much appreciated in our offices - to assist with clerical duties such as filing or scanning, assisting in our warehouse, or if you have a specialized skill such as information technology, you will be a valuable contribution to our team.

This facility is open weekdays from 8:30 to 4:30. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of one, 4 hour shift a week(or it can be split up) for this ongoing volunteer position. Must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer.

Description

For over 50 years, the Association for Individual Development (AID) has provided services to individuals who have developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities, those who have suffered trauma or those at risk.

All clients have access to vital, life enriching services including: early intervention; developmental therapy; autism programs; audiology; respite care; permanent affordable housing; developmental and vocational training; job placement and on-the-job coaching services; crisis intervention; community education and advocacy.
