Ambler Arboretum of Temple University
Event Outreach Volunteers will represent the Arboretum at various community and regional events. Daytime, evening and weekend opportunities are available.
Volunteers will be trained about the Arboretum. Volunteer will pick up a event outreach kit including brochures and display materials. Volunteers will participate in the event for the duration and return the materials to the Arboretum. Volunteers will keep count of the numbers of people visiting the table as well as frequently asked questions.

Ambler Arboretum is a historic site of horticulture, agriculture and design within an institution of higher learning. The Arboretum serves as a living laboratory for students and the community, focusing on sustainability, the health benefits of gardens and the history of women in horticulture, agriculture and design.
Temple University Ambler has a long history of horticulture and landscape design. Established as the Pennsylvania School of Horticulture for Women in 1910, the 187-acre campus represents a unique mix of natural and designed landscapes. The gardens serve as excellent outdoor learning laboratories for numerous classes and as a source of inspiration for the campus and local communities.
The Ambler Arboretum of Temple University has a diverse range of learning gardens, from formal perennial gardens to a green roof garden, which provide a rich diversity of garden experiences.
