If you’re looking to get involved with NICU Families Northwest, a Volunteer Day is a great way to start.
Join NFNW Board members as they prepare The Littlest Reader Project books for distribution and We Care Packages for families in the NICU now.
This is a casual afternoon that is come-as-you-are, with no minimum time commitment. We only ask that you RSVP to info@NICUFamiliesNW.org so we know approximately when to expect you and to include you, or not, in our lunch count. Light snacks, drinks, and a pizza lunch will be provided. Healthy children are welcome to come and play while adults work.

About NICU Families Northwest
Location:

Mission Statement
NICU Families Northwest provides practical, ongoing, social and emotional support to NICU families in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Description
We believe peer-to-peer support and community-building is the single most effective way to mitigate the immense emotional, social, and physical strain on parents and families coping with a NICU experience. We provide a platform for realistic, real-time, peer-to-peer feedback to promote parent and family health in the local NICU community.
We create opportunities for NICU families in Oregon and SW Washington to connect in meaningful ways that promote emotional healing, community-building, and resource sharing.
Founded in 2015, our core programming consists of a web-based P2P network, inpatient community building, and parent-baby bonding through the development of foundational family literacy habits.
