The Amistad For Veterans Project (AFVP) is looking for a volunteer to conduct surveys that evaluate the manner and the effectiveness of the services that the client received from the veteran’s counselor. We are looking for a volunteer who can volunteer 1-2 days a week to conduct the surveys, the volunteer will make three attempts to call the individuals after the third and final attempt if no contact is made, it is documented on the survey and is filed with the client’s records.
To volunteer you must:
- Undergo criminal background check
- Complete VRP orientation designed for volunteers / interns.
- Is punctual in meeting project assignments and communicate with supervisor when changes in volunteer schedule arise.
- Will abide by the agency's Standard Operating Procedures, internal controls, and Ethics Policy.
