Ethan Allen Residence is looking for volunteers interested in playing Rummy with some of our residents. Playing cards is an easy way to engage with our residents, promote prosocial behavior, and build meaningful relationships. Additionally, recent studies show that playing cards can reduce cognitive decline. No card-playing experience necessary. Please don't hesitate to contact us!

Description
At Ethan Allen Residence, we offer compassionate, innovative programming with a focus on wellbeing and ecological responsibility. We coordinate Naturopathic medicine with primary care physicians/specialists, and take a locally-sourced and organic approach to cooking. We believe that when elders receive food, care, and engagement that nourishes them, they are able to flourish.
