As an environmental nonprofit, we need your help to continue our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable living in Northern Colorado. HPEC has weekend volunteer opportunities and hosts groups throughout the week! Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome with no experience required. We support ongoing stewardship & leadership projects, court-appointed community service, and large groups looking to make a difference in their community. Come learn about Colorado native plants, aid in wetland restoration, and help us grow!

The High Plains Environmental Center works to educate communities to become replicable "living laboratories" which demonstrate restorative examples of land-stewardship, native plants, and wildlife habitat.
Description
Are you interested in making a difference in your local community? Would you like to gain or improve your gardening skills? Do you have a passion for sustainability? If you answered yes to any of these questions, HPEC might be perfect for you!

Volunteer projects include, but are not limited to: transplanting, planting, weeding, harvesting, seeding, and prep work. Projects vary depending on the month and our needs at the time.
