Music Volunteers Do you play a musical instrument or sing? Would you like to bring great joy to someone facing a limited life expectancy using your gift. If you would be willing to donate a small amount of time each weekd visiting Hospice Patients and playing for them, we could love to have you join our team. Music is in our souls, and even those who no longer communicate can appreciate hearing music of any kind.

Description
Remita Health provides end of life care to persons who can no longer benefit from curative treatment. The typical hospice patient has a life expectancy of six months or less. Most receive care at home. Some reside in nursing homes or assisted living. Services are provided by a team of trained professionals-physicians, nurses,counselors,therapists, social workers, aides and volunteers- who provide medical care and support services not only to the patient, but to the patient's family and loved ones.
