We are quickly approaching the middle of the year and are so close to meeting our goal of helping 1,500 applicants by the end of the year and we NEED YOUR HELP! The Citizenship Team of OCCORD, will be hosting a Free Citizenship fair to help assist applicants in completing the Naturalization (N-400) application.
If you are over 18 years old and bilingual in Spanish, we ask all new volunteers assist with the N-400 Application. If you are a returning volunteer you have the options for the following stations:
- Interpreters
- Traffic Control (Guiding Applicants)
- Registration (Appointments)
- Check-In (Volunteers)
- Information (Walk-ins / no appointments)
- Intake
- N-400 (Application) 18 yrs+ Bilingual
- Fee-Waiver (Application)
- Copies
- Packaging
- Education (Classes and Material)
Depending on the flow of the Citizenship Fair, returning volunteers will be asked to assist in other areas while things get going. Some volunteers will also have some downtime, while we wait for lawyers and applicants to arrive. So please be patient while we are getting adjusted in the beginning.
If this is something that sounds interesting to you, you can register for our next fair

Citizenship will help empower our immigrant community and lead to more people registering to vote and expand the electorate in OC. We all know America is founded on immigration and it is important we highlight that amidst the many injustices toward the immigrant community. Si se PUEDE!!
