Description
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the leading youth mentoring agency. We create fun, friendship, and inspiration. Mentors are matched to local children based on common interests and preferences. You will meet for 4 or more hours/month in one of these programs:
1.) COMMUNITY BASED - Meet with your Little to do activities you both enjoy. Go hiking, bowling, to the library or park. You choose the days and times that you meet, according to your schedule!
2.) SITE BASED - Visit a local elementary school to meet with your Little for one hour per week during lunch. Spend time at recess, playing board games, or doing crafts!
3.) COUPLE/FAMILY - Invite your significant other and/or children to mentor a child together, for at least 4 hours/month. Invite the child to spend time with you during your normal family outings!
4.) Young Professionals Council - Young Professionals Council is a group of volunteers committed to helping shape Arizona youth through supporting and creating initiatives throughout the community. Gain board and leadership experience, networking opportunities, and a chance to advance the work of one of the Valley's most established nonprofits.
