Fleece blankets

It's a Blanket Making Party in Riverview! Join us for a fun morning of making blankets for the littlest patients of St. Joseph’s Hospital South. No sewing skills needed! You will be able to make one blanket in one hour. You will need to bring 1 to 1.5 yards of fleece for each blanket and a pair of scissors. If you have not made blankets before, we will teach you. If you have a traveling sewing machine, you can bring that instead of fleece and help sew labels, which we provide. Hand sewists are also needed and do not need to bring fleece. We will teach you to sew labels and you will be a pro before you leave. If you crochet or knit, bring your supplies or blanket-in-progress with you.

We will be in the Franciscan conference room just beyond the doors of the medical office entrance. Children are welcome to join us with an adult present to help them. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages. It will be a fun morning. Bring a friend or two and join us!

Please RSVP to this invitation or at TampaBlankets@hotmail.com so we can have tables and chairs set up before you arrive.
