The perfect volunteer opportunity for a friendly, outgoing and compassionate person who enjoys conversation and assisting cancer patients in a relaxing atmosphere. The Abramson Cancer Center is a new state of the art out patient facility providing care and treatment to patients. The pace is relaxed and there is time to connect and care about the patients. This position is available for Tuesday and Wednesday
The position does not require medical experience but volunteers need to be comfortable in a health care setting.
Chester County Hospital volunteers enjoy free parking. A TB screening, flu shot (in flu season) and criminal background check are required and are offered at no cost. Volunteer jackets are purchased from the volunteer services department for $22.
The Abramson Cancer Center is located across the street from Chester County Hospital.

Chester County Hospital, which is part of Penn Medicine, is dedicated to the health and well-being of the people in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding areas.
The hospital is a 329-bed inpatient complex in West Chester, PA. Chartered in 1892 as a 10-bed dispensary, the hospital has been serving Chester County and its surrounding communities for more than 125 years.
