This opportunity will be for Spring, Between January/February - April.
This opportunity will be for Fall, Between June/July - December.
Academic Credit ONLY.
Work alongside the Volunteer Manager and Operations Director to assist in the day to day operations at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. Assist in volunteer recruitment, event implementation and processing in-kind donations and services.
Recruiting volunteers for special events and client events. Interns learn how to coordinate 100-400 volunteers during an event. Creating job descriptions for volunteer positions at the events and follow up communication after sending the Job Descriptions. Creating a timeline of events for the day of the event including volunteer shifts with contact information. Attending special event Committee Meetings leading up to the day of the event. Attending the day of the event to assist with coordination of volunteers.
