Volunteer Anger Management Class Facilitators Needed!

ORGANIZATION: LIFE SKILLS FOR LIVING, INC. (FORMERLY ANGER SOLUTIONS INC)

Volunteers are needed to help facilitate our modularized anger management class in the Bexar County Jail (flexible weekday schedules available) and the Dominguez State Jail (Tuesday early evenings).

We are also looking for community members who want to be a volunteer "guest speaker" on an uplifting topic or to provide a positive message or info on a community resource from 45 minutes to 2 hours to offenders in the Work Release Program at the Bexar County Jail between 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm on weekday evenings.

Training and curriculum is provided.

Qualifications:
- Must be 21 or older.
- Able to pass a background check and if an ex-offender, be off paper for at least 10 years.
- Enjoy speaking informally in front of small groups.
- Have a kind heart.

Life Skills for Living, Inc. provides life changing higher power and faith-based anger management services in prisons, jails, schools, businesses, neighborhoods, churches, community centers and at our location. We offer a variety of ways to participate in anger management, stress and conflict resolution programs. These programs are designed to meet the needs of all individuals seeking help. Our programs offer various sessions and workshops throughout each week. To date, we have helped over 42,000 individuals in Bexar and surrounding counties effectively manage their emotion of anger and have the tools to live in more peaceful and productive manner.
