We have several low income seniors and adults with disabilities who rely on local foods banks to receive adequate nutrition. But often, they have no way to access the resources due to a lack of transportation. A Helping Hand is looking for volunteers with availability on Wednesdays from 1-5 pm to transport Durham seniors and adults with disabilities to local food banks. With just a few hours a week you can address food insecurity.
