At Violence Interrupted we are looking to change how we think and respond to domestic and sexual violence. We know that the behaviors we face in our teen through adult years are shaped by the coping, communication, and life skills which we learn at an early age, and how we maintain those skills through young adulthood into full on adulthood.
We are looking for research savants to help us identify trends in domestic and sexual violence at the local, national and international level. We are also looking for market research on existing programs being offered by other nonprofits, with an emphasis on identifying what is similar and different about their programs. Knowing what is going on in the world, help us shape our own offering to better change the tide of violence which exists today.
This is a long term project for the right individuals, who feel passionate about helping to make our world better one person at a time. Ideally, we are looking for individuals who are able to contribute 6-12 hours per month, for a 6 month period. However, we also want to hear from you if you're only able to provide one or two months of assistance. Truthfully, we always like help from the community.
