As Exhibits and Facilities Maintenance Volunteer, you will support the Exhibits and Facilities Manager with a variety of tasks, including cleaning, building, painting, and repair of exhibit components, facilities, and live animal displays.
Responsibilities and qualifications: Be willing to work in a dusty/dirty/greasy environment, support Mobius staff as an active team member by identifying and resolving issues with exhibits/facilities/live animal displays, must have knowledge and skill in operation of hand and power tools, must have experience in general labor and/or building methods, experience in exhibit design and construction preferred, must be able to stand/walk for at least 3 hours at a time, must be able to lift 40 lbs., must be 18 years old or older.
Time commitment: Volunteer schedule is flexible and is determined on a case-by-case basis with the Exhibits and Facilities Manager.
