We are pleased to announce the upcoming A Matter of Balance Volunteer Coach training to held in Burleson on August 21 st and 28 th , at the Burleson Public Library, each day from 10 am to 3 pm (you must attend both days to become certified as a coach).
A Matter of Balance is an award winning fall prevention program conducted over 8 sessions with remarkable results. Approximately 97% of participants who complete this workshop say that they are more confident in preventing falls.
No exercise or medical experience is necessary-all exercises are designed for low to moderate level abilities
Enthusiasm a must and a willingness to lead small groups of older adults
You set your schedule when you want to coach a scheduled workshop in your community.
One year minimum volunteer commitment.

Description
The Agency plans and coordinates services for persons ages 60 and older and their family caregivers who live in the 14 counties surrounding Dallas and Tarrant. Direct services include: information and referral, case management, benefits counseling, legal assistance, ombudsman, money organizer, homemaker, and caregiver education and training.
