Every year at the end of July for the last 17 years, we've hosted a Ride to Defeat ALS in the North Sound. For the last 4 years, we've hosted it on the Centennial Trail and it has been great! Our Ride typically has between 150-200 participants and starts at the Snohomish Senior Center. This year, it will take place on July 25th. All the proceeds help our Chapter to deliver our mission by providing care & hope for a cure to over 850 people living with ALS and their families in the Pacific Northwest. We're hoping to get help with having volunteer bike mechanic(s) available at the start line from 7:30 am - 8:30 am and then at one of our rest stops along the way from about 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. We advertise "simple adjustments, quick bike checks and fix flats. If your bike needs more serious work, please try to visit a Bike Shop prior to Ride Day."
Join us for a fine time and a good cause! Food & beverage provided!
