Would you like to help alleviate hunger in Pittsburgh's East End? Consider becoming a volunteer at the EECM Community House Kitchen. Each week-day, we provide hot lunches to between 60 and 120 indviduals. Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve this noon meal.
Meal preparation takes place between 8:00 and 11:00am. Meal service is between 11:30 am and 1:00pm.

Description
East End Cooperative Ministry is a nonprofit, faith-based, ecumenical organization comprised of 47 member congregations. Since 1970, EECM has provided tangible, emotional, and social services directly to the homeless, the hungry, the elderly, and the at-risk children and youth in Pittsburgh's economically distressed neighborhoods.
