We're setting up a table to show kittens for adoption and collect donations for rescue and food.
We need volunteers to have out flyers and tell people about our programs and kittens for adoption.
This will be only a couple of hours during a street fair where we hope to contact many Astoria neighbors and educate them about our services for homeless animals.

Description
Pets for Vets NYC-Long Island, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that rescues and professionally trains shelter dogs to provide companionship and emotional support for military Veterans with PTSD. We are 100% volunteer-run, and we are always looking for volunteers and fosters to help in Brooklyn/NYC and on Long Island, NY.
