COTS is currently looking for drivers to drop off food for clients in housing throughout Sonoma County!
Essential responsibilities:
- Carry food from COTS kitchen to car
- Follow designed route to make drop offs
- Drop off food at COTS housing locations
- Abide by all COTS Rules for Volunteers, with special sensitivity to confidentiality.
- A willingness to relate to people of different socio-economic backgrounds.
- Individuals are finger printed - acceptable driving history and criminal history
- Understanding of physical capabilities
- Time management skills
Drivers work in the mornings.
We ask that volunteers are willing to commit at least one month of service for at least one shift per week. We need both regular drivers and those willing to fill in on weekends and during the week.
- Volunteers will be interviewed and introduced to COTS
- Prior to starting volunteer service, individuals will be introduced to procedures and rules
- Program supervisor will be present during first volunteer service
- Be a part of COTS traditions and our meals delivered each week
- Provide basic needs to someone in need
- Gain greater volunteer experience
