About this Job

Marketing & Event Intern will assist the events team with individual program management, donor relations and corporate donors. The intern will support all aspects of marketing including creating materials to communicate with our donor database, assisting with program logistics, researching media and community connections, helping with events. Individuals will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit development. This intern will also be asked to perform various administrative duties and assist in day-to-day office tasks.

Skills Necessary to be Successful

  • Candidate should be a junior, senior or recent graduate
  • Prior experience with Raiser’s Edge is a plus but training is available
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel) is necessary
  • Experience in nonprofit sector is beneficial
  • Interest in kids is a plus
  • Transportation to and from work and outside events
