Development Intern

About this Job

Development Intern will assist the development team with individual program management, donor relations and corporate donors. The intern will support all aspects of development including assisting to manage donor database, assisting with program logistics, researching corporate donors. Individuals will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit development. Development intern will also be asked to perform various administrative duties and assist in day-to-day office tasks.

Skills Necessary to be Successful

  • Candidate should be a junior, senior or recent graduate
  • Prior experience with Raiser’s Edge and TeamRaiser is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft office is necessary
  • Experience in nonprofit sector is beneficial
  • Interest in pediatrics is a plus
  • Transportation to and from work and outside events

For 30 years and counting, the NPCF has been the one shining light for children who are fighting cancer. We have donated millions of dollars to research and our clinical trials are yielding amazing discoveries that are saving many children’s lives.
