Special Events Intern

About this Job

Special Events Intern will assist the events team with logistics coordination and day-of coordination. The intern will support all aspects of special events including research, pre-planning and execution of special events. Individuals will gain hands-on experience in special events from logistics, volunteer coordination, child and family recruitment, and communications. Special Event intern will also be asked to perform various administrative duties and assist in day-to-day office tasks.

Skills Necessary to be Successful

  • Candidate should be a sophomore, junior or senior
  • Prior special events experience beneficial but not required
  • Prior experience working with children a plus
  • Interest in non-profit and pediatrics a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft office is necessary
  • Transportation to and from work and outside events
  • Ability to work weekend and evening events when necessary
