Volunteer to play! Volunteers on the museum floor initiate playful interactions with visitors! They interact with both adults and children and they provide customer service to ensure all visitors have a positive and memorable experience.
Behind the Scenes volunteers can help with a variety of opportunities throughout the Museum, including administrative roles, special events or special projects. These opportunities are dependent on project availability.

Volunteering at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota is an extraordinary way to give back to your community and engage children with the power of play. We have unique opportunities for volunteers to support the Museum by assisting visitors in hands-on exhibits or by helping with behind-the-scenes activities. Volunteers help the Museum fulfill its mission by sparking a lifelong love of learning in our children and in our community.
