Host an exchange student!

We need Host Families from West County and City of St. Louis!

EF High School Exchange Year matches motivated international high school students with caring volunteer host families. We are looking for families to open their homes to students from 13 countries including Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria, Thailand, Taiwan and South Korea.

We are hoping you are interested hosting for 6-8 weeks or for the full 2018-19 school year. The students are amazing and all are excited about sharing their culture with an American host family.

EF High School Exchange Year offers placement opportunities for 6-8 weeks, Fall Semester, Second Semester, and the full school year.

We are currently placing for the 2018-19 school year. We will soon begin placements one-semester students arriving in January 2019 abd Fall 2019, and full-year 2019-20.

EF High School Exchange Year, a nonprofit committed to promoting global awareness for over 30 years, is the leader in high school exchange.

We bring more international students to the United States than any other high school exchange program. We have over three decades of experience and offer unparalleled support and resources to our host families, students and schools.

We offer the strongest local and national support network in the industry to students, host families and schools. EF High School Exchange Year’s host families and schools have access to our full-time professional staff located at our Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters. Our national staff is available 365 days a year/24 hours a day and has overall responsibility for each exchange student while they are living in the United States.

Our trained coordinators and placement specialists have extensive experience working with thousands of families each year. Ensuring that families are well prepared for the exchange experience and matching the right student with the right family is a top priority.
