North Shore Animal League America’s Petland Discounts Adoption program has a great need for volunteers to assist in the areas of our five stores. Volunteer duties will include: cleaning the cat cage in the store; assisting with cat adoptions; coordinating the drop off of supplies; transporting a cat back to North Shore for a medical visit or delivering a new cat to the store.
The stores are located in four boroughs of New York City. The areas are: West 23 rd Street in Manhattan; Greenpoint, Brooklyn; Jerome Avenue in the Bronx; Jackson Heights and Long Island City in Queens.
Please fill out our volunteer application on our website ( www.animaleague.org) and in the section of the application that asks "reasons for wanting to volunteer at North Shore Animal League America" please make sure to fill in "PETLAND DISCOUNTS CAT ADOPTIONS."
