Special Adoption Event-Helpers Needed-Saturday, 11/23/19 @ Craft Beer Cellar

Our rescue group, Love Mutts Rescue, has been invited to be a part of a special event at Craft Beer Cellar in Cary, NC this Saturday, November 23, 2019, and are in need of volunteers to help us make this event successful. We are hoping to bring several of our adoptable dogs to this event, but can not do so without volunteer help. We will be sharing the afternoon with a doggie daycare/boarding group. There will be some items for sale and a 50/50 raffle drawing at 2:30pm

Volunteers are responsiblefor keeping one of our dogs safe and securely on leash at all times during the event, making sure that the dogs have access to the water bowls, and taking dogs for potty breaks. We ask that cell phone use be very limited during the events so that focus is on the dogs. The most important thing to remember is that your main focus needs to be on the dog that you are holding during the event at all times. We are depending on our volunteers to help us ensure that our dogs dogs are safe, secure, and happy during this event. And, of course, showering the dogs with extra love and attention is always encouraged (we have some really sweet dogs in the rescue, so this part is easy).

We are asking for volunteers from 12:30pm-approx. 3:30pm (or a period of time during these hours ((we can be flexible, but prefer volunteers be able to stay for 2-3 hours periods).

This is a wonderful opportunity to not only socialize the dogs, but for people to meet our adoptable dogs in person; maybe one or two of them will get lucky and meet their new family here! Our rescued animals come from local shelters and other not-so-good circumstances and are looking for the 2nd chance that they deerve.
