Description
Join us every Friday or the third Saturday of each month to help restore our rare dolomite prairie and oak/hickory woodlands. We cut brush, pull weeds and collect seed, depending on the season. All levels of experience are welcome.
Requirements * Participants should be able to be outdoors for 2-3 hours and walk on uneven terrain *All tools and onsite training will be provided *Please arrive a few minutes before the workday begins *Dress for the outdoors. Layers, long pants and long socks are recommended *Please wear non-synthetic clothes, like cotton or wool. Weather permitting, in cooler weather there may be a brush pile fire, and hot embers can make holes in clothes *Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are suggested *Hat or bandana and sunglasses are recommended *Please bring a water bottleContact George Birminghamt.stone.restoration@gmail.com
