Description
Founded in 2016, Writing Our Wrongs, Inc.(tm) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to our mission to "Empower Youth to Activate Their Voice Through Writing and Speech." We do this through our Writing Our Wrongs(tm) Pledge Card and comprehensive programming.
Writing Our Wrongs, Inc.(tm) is a unique and innovative organization with progressive and interactive programming. We will not only meet a great need in our present social climate by giving a voice to the issues that plague our youth; but also provide the youth of the City of Atlanta with life skills, which will be beneficial in future endeavors. We are committed to providing the marginalized and the disenfranchised with a voice to speak on their behalf. WOW will accomplish this with our two programs - WE SPEAK! Academy(tm) and Power of the Pen(tm) Creative Writing in rotation throughout the 12 months.
