At the New Age Skin Research Foundation, a non-profit [501 (C) (3)] organization dedicated to research, education, and advocacy, there are internship opportunities available for students to gain experience in the research and administrative fields. Many of our researchers have gotten into medical and osteopathic schools. Others have gotten into dermatology fellowship programs or have used the research to help their advancement in the sciences. Research internships are available to college-bound or college students, medical students, and post-doctoral fellows. The New Age Research Foundation is currently conducting research studies on various skin conditions lasting anywhere between 2-10 months. We have availabilities in clinical research, website management, and administration. Upon successful completion of the internship, a letter of recommendation will be available for qualified candidates. If significant work is performed, the intern’s name may be published on the abstract, research paper, or other project worked on during the course of the internship.

Description

Volunteer research positions for college students, medical students, residents and post-doctoral fellows are available at the New Age Skin Research Foundation. Positions are available to conduct research with a time frame ranging from 2 months (over the summer) up to a year on various skin conditions.

Upon successful completion of the research period, authorship on a clinical/research paper and a letter of recommendation will be available for qualified candidates.

It is expected that each participant will complete at least one research project and his/her findings will be prepared for submission to a scientific cancer/ dermatologic journal.
