VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH OUR BNW SUMMER 2018 PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS CHILDREN

Join The Actors Theatre Workshop in helping change the lives of children living in temporary housing facilities! This summer, we are working with Nickelodeon to create a very special field trip and learning opportunity for the children who graduated our Builders of the New World Program in Spring 2017.

We are looking for responsible adults passionate about bringing a change in the community to mentor the children and rehearse them for two classes leading up to their trip to Nickelodeon. You will be trained by ATW’s Artistic Director and Founder, Thurman E. Scott, and have the once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of our award-winning theatre and education program for precious 8 - 12 year old New York City children:

  • Complete this application and attend an Information Session to learn more about volunteering at this community program and be interviewed on Saturday, June 30th, Saturday, July 7th and Saturday, July 14th from 3:00 - 5:00pm
  • Attend a Training Session with ATW’s Artistic Director and Founder on Tuesday, July 17th from 6:00 - 9:30 PM
  • Join the children on Wednesday, July 25th and Monday, July 30th from 12:00 - 5:00 PM!
