Do you have a 3-Hour block of time to volunteer on a regular basis or for one-time special events? The James A. Venable Community Center in Cabazon can use your help from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Mon-Thurs) and 8:00 AM - Noon (Fri).
Help at the Front Desk answering phones and greeting the public, asssist with programs for the day, help with janitorial/maintenance duties and more. We also need assistance with tutoring, arts, and sports activities.
You must be a minimum of age 16, willing to attend training sessions, and able to volunteer one or more days/week for a 3- or 4-hour shift. Some areas may require a background check.

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
