Mission Statement
It is the mission of Gentiva Hospice to provide exceptional care with empathy for our patients and their families so they may live with comfort, dignity, and respect.
Description
The mission of Gentiva Hospice and its reason for being is to provide exceptional care with empathy for our patients and their families so they may live with comfort, dignity and respect. Our vision is our aspiration and describes who we want to be as a company: To be the first choice of patients, families, healthcare providers and associates for home care services. And our values are our deeply held beliefs of the ways we commit to working, who we say we are and how we work toward a common goal. Compassion: Provide patients and families with exceptional care with sensitivity and empathy. Respect: Treat everyone- patients, families and each other- with dignity and grace. Integrity: maintain the highest standard of professional and personal ethics and be worthy of our patient's trust. Teamwork: Value the contributions of all and be accountable to each other and our organization. Excellence: Never settle for good enough. Deliver the best possible outcomes through the highest quality of service. Each of these statements is the result of shared reflections on what it means to be part of the Gentiva family, what we stand for, and who we are. We pride ourselves on the care we provide and the excellent feedback we receive from our patients and families.
