Every year, we encourage community members to explore Whatcom County’s diverse family-owned farms, on this free, self-guided tour. Tour goers will find exciting educational and interactive activities at each of the tour stops, meet local farmers and see how their food is grown and raised from seed to plate.
Mark your calendars for September 9th and 10th! We need volunteers to greet and interact with community members on this self-guided farm tour. You will be spreading the word about food and farming, helping to create a vibrant local food economy, and helping the farmers connect to tour goers.
The shift times are:
- September 8, 9:30-1:30
- September 8, 1:30-5:30
- September 9, 9:30-1:30
- September 9, 1:30-5:30
Respond through this portal, or email Abbie at Sustainable Connections (abbie@sustainableconnections.org) directly if you're interested. Thank you!
