Dedicated to the perpetual preservation of the Thomas & Alice Patterson Farm in Lower Makefield, PA. Agriculture is our heritage and future.
Description
We are an enthusiastic group of volunteers whose goal is perpetually preserve and restore the Patterson Farm, a 234 acre farm that was founded in 1683 by Quaker immigrants. We've made great strides for farmland preservation with a conservation easement that protects Patterson Farm's fertile & irreplaceable Bucks County soil. Our present project is the restoration of historic Satterthwaite Mansion, circa 1760, on Patterson Farm. We have many exciting projects about history and natural science planned that will educate and involve the community. Join us as we preserve history and support sustainable local agriculture and natural open spaces.
