The Cat Cavorting Assistant will work closely with the director on specific project assignments, research, bookkeeping, and additionaltasks.
Main responsibilities will include:
- weekly communication with the director in the organization
- respond to email inquiries and main phone line messages and texts
- contact pet food/related businesses and request donations
- maintain log for donations, rescue requests, food donations, etc.
- take on project assignments as they come up (example: research community grants, contact businesses for sponsorships, etc)
- volunteer and attend rescue-related events and fundraising events for Cat Cavorting
If you speak Spanish, that would be a bonus.

Mission Statement
Cat Cavorting is a 501(c)(3) focused on helping communities and individuals manage outdoor cat colonies with TNR (trap, neuter, return), tending to cat colonies, and rescuing adoptable cats off the streets.
Description
We are a new organization that works with reputable rescues to ensure adoptable cats are taken off the streets. We focus on doing trap, neuter, return (TNR) and controlling the community cat population this way. We are located in Phoenix, Arizona and strive to expand our volunteer base so more people may be educated on community cats and how to help. Our one year anniversary is August 2018.
