Volunteer To Help Kids With Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia!
Wills Eye Hospital is looking for energetic and professional volunteers to assist with our Vision Screening Program for Children in Philadelphia schools!
Over the past 5 years, Wills Eye has provided free vision care services to nearly 40,000 children. Our program provides kids in need with free glasses and follow-up eye care to help them see clearly in school during those crucial years when they are learning to read and write.
There is nothing like seeing a young child put on a pair of glasses that allow them to see the board in class clearly for the first time in their life.
This opportunity is perfect for individuals who love working with children and for those who are planning a career in education or in the medical field.
Here are the details:
- No minimum required hours
- No vision screening experience necessary
