Join the Central Georgia community in helping us walk all over heart disease and stroke! We will have numerous opportunities at the Walk for volunteers to help. Instructions and specific training will be given at the event. Thank you so much for your support of our mission!
Here's an overview of our day:

• Set-up: 12pm-4pm
• Event volunteers in place: 5pm
• Heart Walk Village opens for participants at 5:30pm
• Program starts at 6:00pm with walk following
• Closing announcements 7:30pm
• Participants must be outside of the gate by 8pm
• Break-down: 7:45pm-8:45pm
• Staff must be outside of the gate by 9:00pm

Set-up volunteers: 10 people 12pm-4pm

Unload truck, setting-up tents, taking tables and chairs and bins to tents, hanging banners, etc.
Put out route signs, table cloths on tables, unpacking bins at tent, put out balloons, etc.

Event volunteers: 15-20 people 5pm-8pm

Man a booth to do an activity with event participants, handing out water/cheering on participants, etc.

Break-down volunteers: 10 people 7:00pm-9pm Pick-up route signs, pack-up bins, take down banners and tents, stack up tables and chairs, load the truck, etc.
