4Oceans will be sponsoring a cleanup at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 8:00-12:00.
- Free admission to the Park for all volunteers. Registration will take place in Picnic area A. Directions will be provided at the Ranger Station.
- The first 20 volunteers who want to can get kayaks to assist with cleaning the mangroves, Harbor and fishing platforms. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring gloves.
- There will be a beach cleaning group and a land trail cleaning group as well. Participants should wear closed toe shoes, bring sunscreen , bug spray and a refillable water bottle.
- We will have ice water for refillable water bottles and Snacks will be provided by Winn Dixie.

All participants will receive a 4Oceans signature bracelet and t-shirt at the end of the event!

Description
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park has embarked on a long-term ecological restoration aimed at reestablishing and managing beach dune, coastal strand, freshwater wetlands, maritime hammock, and mangrove forest communities. The Cape Florida Project aimes to restore ecosystem function and connect a culturally diverse urban population with nature through volunteerism and education.
