Join us on June 20th for another Wetlands Conservancy volunteer opportunity! We need your help to keep this little gem of wetland habitat perfect for our favorite native wildlife. We will practice social distancing.
What: Removal of invasive plants and litter from a dense forested wetland.
Where: Apache Bluffs, nestled between a residential neighborhood and Tualatin Country Club’s golf course. Sign up for exact location and parking information.
When:Saturday, June 20th, from 10am - 1pm.
How to sign up: Respond to this announcement or email volunteer@wetlandsconservancy.org to be added to our roster.
Please bring a mask to wear. Plan on Oregon weather: anything from scattered showers to sun. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes! We recommend rubber boots or shoes that can get muddy. Let us know if you would like to borrow rubber boots. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Description
Our boots are in Oregon’s wetlands. Founded in 1981, The Wetlands Conservancy is the only organization in Oregon dedicated to working in partnership with communities statewide to permanently protect, conserve and restore Oregon’s greatest wetlands. In collaboration with public and private sector partners, we have conserved some of Oregon’s greatest wetlands within the Oregon Central Coast, Harney County and the Willamette Valley. Our work has also included ownership, enhancement and stewardship of 500 acres of wetlands in the Portland Metro region.
