Thank you for your interest in the 31st Annual Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy. We are looking for reliable, responsible volunteers who are able to assist us by donating their time at registration, prize distribution, tailgate party, race course, or parking. There will be a lead volunteer to instruct and guide you. Your help will make a huge impact on the success of our event. The funds raised at this event will help the Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA to continue to provide well needed programs and supportive services for children, families, and adults with epilepsy/seizure disorders.

The Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA (EAWCP) endeavors to improve the quality of life for persons with epilepsy/seizure disorders and to dispel the myths, stigmas and misunderstandings associated with epilepsy.

Description

Please join us on Saturday, July 13th at PNC Park as we host the 31st Annual Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy. This 5k run/2 mi walk will raise funds and awareness for children, adults and families whose lives have been affected by epilepsy and seizure disorders. All money raised at this event will stay in our area to provide programs and supportive services. These programs include weekend and summer camps, support groups, emergency medication assistance, educational conferences and workshops, CareShare respite services, seizure response dogs, college scholarships, seizure recognition and first aid training for students, teachers and school nurses.
