Dreamchasers United NFP is an organization in Chicago that works to encourage civic engagement, build life skills, community development, and youth empowerment through recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities. We are committed to creating healthy communities by preparing our youth to be civically engaged professionals. Our goal is to instill in our youth a can-do attitude that will enable them to chase their dreams and change the future!!!

We are looking for volunteers to be a part of our afterschool mentoring programs and basketball tournaments throughout Chicago. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about creating a positive lasting impact on our youth.

Description

The Dreamchasers United Afterschool Program focuses on financial literacy, character development, education, and workforce readiness for young men in seventh and eighth grade. The curriculum derives from Bank of America and Junior Achievement programs. The program is delivered by passionate volunteers that act as program facilitators as well as mentors for our youth. We are looking for people who are passionate about connecting with the youth through teaching and giving personal testaments.
