The American Red Cross is seeking volunteers in the St. Joseph county area who would be willing to work in our shelters during times of local disasters. This can be in shelter management, feeding, or taking care of In-Kind donations from those in our community. By getting trained in this capacity, you can also deploy to national disasters during hurricane season & any other natural disaster that requires volunteers to rise to the occasion. If you have any questions or are interested, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office.

We have five lines of services in our mission: Disaster relief, supporting America's military families, biomedical, (blood collection) health & safety services, and international services.
If you're interested in building resiliency in your community against local hazards (house fires, snowstorms, rainstorms, etc.), we have many volunteer opportunities to get involved.
