ORGANIZATION: Empath Tidewell Hospice

Volunteers needed to man our reception area. Duties include greeting visitors, receiving packages, and helping with administrative projects (scanning, packets, mailings, etc). If you just want to read or knit between visitors that is acceptable, too! Three hour shifts (8-11, 11-2, and 2-5) Monday through Friday.

Founded as Suncoast (1977) and Tidewell (1980) as true pioneers in hospice care, each of our organizations adapted to change and grew to meet the needs of the community, ultimately evolving to become Empath Health and Stratum Health System, respectively.

We came together as Empath Health in March 2021, creating the country’s largest non-profit hospice and home care-based health care organization. Rooted in the remarkable people that give so much of themselves, we look to further our unwavering commitment to uniquely high standards by now growing together.
